"Native Cinderella" Fine-Art Print, artwork by the owner of Native Anthro. This artwork is as much a creation story as it is a fairy tale. There are various interpretations of Cinderella throughout the world going back thousands of years. We have one similar as well. The magpies and blue jays represent the time when the land was covered in ice. It was a time of change when animals spoke and walked around like humans. The mountain behind her is a sacred place tied to a period when the great floods came and all the animals and foods sought refuge on that mountain. It is still used as a weather vane for our people today. This is a nod to several oral histories significant to Yakama people.
The print is a high-quality giclee print on photographic paper. They measure 8 inches x 10 inches and are packaged in white artboard and a clear bag. Supplies are very limited.
